Group Life COVID-19 Mortality Survey Report Series
The SOA Research Institute announces the Group Life COVID-19 Mortality Survey Report Series, which gathers a high-level view of U.S. group term life insurance mortality experience since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic as compared to a pre-pandemic baseline period. These reports will measure results in total and by broad age group, industry category, geographic region, and cause of death.
Schedule
The first quarterly update of group life mortality experience including data through March 31, 2024, is now available. The SOA Research Institute will produce future quarterly updates of group life mortality experience as more data emerges for 2024, with subsequent reports made available on the following schedule:
- August 2024
- November 2024
- February 2025
