Special Session at the Joint Math Meetings

Jim Daniels is again organizing an Informal Session on Actuarial Education at the 2001 annual Joint Mathematics Meetings in New Orleans.

The session is scheduled for Friday, January 12, 2001, 5–7 p.m. [See the final program for location.]

The session will feature the usual socializing, plus a presentation by Alan Levine of Franklin & Marshall on the calculus and probability skills required for Joint Exam 1, and how these skills relate to textbooks and courses.
