In Memory of Harry Curtis Eyre

Harry C. Eyre, FSA, MAAA, age 95, beloved husband for 69 years to Margaret Jane, nee O'Dell, cherished father of Nora Eyre Moushey (Michael), Curtis James Eyre, and Carla Jane Eyre (Peter Gallagher), proud grandfather to Stephen (Kathryn) Eyre, Bryon Eyre, Douglas (Erin) Moushey, Catherine Eyre, and Laura Moushey, at rest Oct. 29, 2009 at the Brookwood Retirement Center, Cincinnati, Ohio.

Born on July 4, 1914, in Winfield, Iowa of the late Walter and Helen Eyre, Eyre and wife Margaret were long–time residents of Des Moines, Iowa and Columbus, Ohio. Eyre was a major in the army in World War II. He was a graduate of the University of Iowa and became a fellow of the Society of Actuaries. Eyre was an executive with Bankers Life in Des Moines and Nationwide Insurance in Columbus where he ran the group insurance operation. Memorials may be sent to The University of Iowa Foundation, P.O.
