In Memory of Leo Lebos, Jr.

Leo Lebos, Jr., FSA, MAAA, AIAA, passed away on June 30, 2009. He was 67.

Lebos was born in Ashville, North Carolina son of the late Mary Elizabeth Hubbard and the late Leo Lebos, Sr. His successful 35 years in the insurance industry started at Interstate Life & Accident Company in Chattanooga, continued at Gulf Life Insurance Company in Jacksonville, and American General Life and Accident Insurance Company in Nashville. He retired in 1999 as vice president and chief actuary at American General Life and Accident.

Lebos was preceded in death by his wife, Sherrell A. Lebos and son, Leo Lebos III. Survivors include his daughter, Tracy Lebos of Brentwood and his brother, Richard Lebos of Chicago, Illinois.
