In Memory of Sean Lee McIntosh

Sean Lee McIntosh, FSA, MAAA, died Sunday, April 11, 2010 at the age of 43. He was vice president of Actuarial Services at National Western. McIntosh received a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics/engineering from the University of Tulsa. He held various positions at insurance and consulting firms throughout his career.

McIntosh was an active member of the actuarial community in Austin. He presented at the local actuarial club, and participated in YMCA and math mentorship programs at middle schools.

He enjoyed music and was a proficient guitar, piano and drum player. Colleagues and family expressed they have lost a very dear friend and the world has lost a father, a husband, a son and a good person.
