In Memory of Frank H. David

Frank H. David, FSA, MAAA, leader in the insurance industry, passed away March 6, 2005 at the age of 84. David was employed with the Prudential Insurance Company in Newark, New Jersey for 38 years, first as an actuary and later as vice president of the group annuity and pensions department before retiring in 1986. He was a 1948 graduate of Harvard University earning a bachelor's degree in mathematics. David served on the board of trustees at the Newark Museum and was elected trustee emeritus in 1998. He also chaired the museum's pension and retirement committee and was a member of the finance committee. David is survived by his wife, Marilyn; a son, Lloyd; a daughter, Wendy Friedman; a brother, Alfred; and four grandchildren.
