In Memory of John Clark

John P. Clark, FSA, passed away on May 8, 2005 at the age of 61. Clark was a 1961 graduate of Trinity High School and a 1965 graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in mathematics. He received a master's degree in mathematics from the University of Michigan in 1966 and served in the Marine Corps Reserves from 1966 to 1972.

Clark was a fellow of the Society of Actuaries. He worked for many years in the life insurance industry while residing in Westboro, Mass.; Redding, Conn. and Pinehurst, N.C. His many activities and interests included singing with the Westboro Community Chorus, golf, bridge and devotedly cheerleading the Boston Red Sox.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy; daughters Carolyn and Susan; sisters Carol, Mary and Margaret; sister–in–law Carole; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents and a brother, James.
