Acknowledgement Letter

Your Acknowledgement Letter serves as your Ticket of Admission. This will be e–mailed to you automatically once your application has been processed and it will include your candidate number and your exam center name and number. No other Ticket of Admission will be e–mailed or mailed to you. The Acknowledgement Letter also serves as your receipt. E–mailed Acknowledgement Letters should be printed and used for admittance into the exam, along with proper identification.

CBT, Computer–Based Testing, Exam P/1 and FM/2 only:

For CBT Exam P/1 and FM/2 candidates the candidate number/eligibility number included on the automated acknowledgement will NOT be activated immediately. Once the number has been activated, SOA will e–mail a Letter of Confirmation which will explain the scheduling process. Please wait for this Letter of Confirmation before attempting to schedule your appointment with Prometric.

Mailed applications are processed in the order they are received. It may take a few weeks to enter your application due to the volume of applications being received. Please use Online Registration, if possible.

If you receive an Acknowledgement Letter that contains incorrect information, notify the Customer Service Center at 888.697.3900.

If you have not received or have misplaced your Acknowledgement Letter, you can reprint one from our Exam Registration Page. Or contact Customer Service Center for assistance.
