information and links provided below.
Retirement Benefits CSP is a written–answer examination offered in
the spring and fall of each year. Both a U.S. and Canadian version of the exam are administered,
each of which has its own reading list.
The syllabus for this exam develops the candidate's ability
to analyze retirement plan design, valuation, funding and accounting, both in general and
as it applies to a particular situation. Specific topics include risks to employers and
employees of specific plan designs, the application of a specific plan design to achieve
a plan sponsor's goals, financial accounting requirements for retirement plans,
evaluation of financial risks associated with retirement plans and methods to
mitigate such risk, the effect of regulation, and professional standards of practice.
Recommended order for each fellowship track. These recommendations are effective for all exams and modules completed after July 1, 2011.
