Eligibility: Full-time academic member, Full-time faculty (CAE), SOA Hickman Scholar, Credentialed Ph.D. candidate

Qualified SOA Meetings: The following SOA meetings are approved for academic fee waivers:

• Life & Annuity Symposium
• Health Meeting
• Valuation Actuary Symposium
• Annual Meeting
• Fellowship Admissions Course

Administration:

• The Continuing Education Department will determine the number of meeting registrations available on a fee–waived basis.
• Requests for fee waivers must be made at the time of registration.
• An administration fee is assessed to all fee waiver registrations.

Limits:

• In a given calendar year, the amount waived for a single meeting may not exceed the regular SOA member fee for the SOA Annual Meeting in that calendar year.
• No individual may have more than $2,500 (U.S.) total in waived fees per calendar year.
