Joint CAS/SOA Committee on Actuarial Diversity

This committee's mission is to facilitate the evolution of a multi–dimensional actuarial profession by recruiting quality mathematical and analytical talent from the African–American, Hispanic and Native American communities. The committee supports selected summer actuarial programs for high school students. The committee also reimburses qualified minority students who pass their first exam and offers mentoring opportunities. It shares editorial board responsibilities of the joint SOA/CAS actuarial career Web site: BeAnActuary.org with the Joint SOA/CAS Committee on Career Encouragement.
