FutureRisk.org

FutureRisk.org is a new research Web site sponsored by SOA, and powered by Association DataZone, a team of innovative market researchers and leading association consultants. Beginning in June, Association DataZone will use FutureRisk.org to conduct anonymous surveys on our behalf around topics of significance such as employment trends, professional benchmarks (e.g. salary, job satisfaction, enterprise risk management opportunities) and emerging issues affecting the profession. The SOA will use that information to track trends, produce reports, initiate strategies, and develop new products and services. Just go to www.FutureRisk.org and click on "Register" or "Sign Up Now" to be part of this groundbreaking research initiative.

FutureRisk.org allows for easy, 24/7 online consumer market research and presents SOA members and other interested individuals with a simple, effective way to respond to issues of importance to actuaries and others working in the field of modeling and management of financial risk, providing a vehicle of ownership in the future growth and direction of the profession.

FutureRisk.org operates completely independently of www.soa.org and its database of members. No personal information provided at FutureRisk.org will be made available to the SOA or its staff. Survey results will be provided to the SOA in aggregate, and only survey results with more than 10 responses will ever be provided to the SOA.

The creation of FutureRisk.org is just one more way the Society of Actuaries is growing and improving its environmental scanning in order to better evaluate and address issues related to and impacting the actuarial profession.
