SOA Names Four New CAE Schools

Four university actuarial science programs were named SOA Centers of Actuarial Excellence (CAE) this spring.

• University of Illinois
• University of Michigan–Ann Arbor
• Université du Québec à Montréal
• University of Toronto

These schools join thirteen CAE schools that were awarded the designation in the fall of 2009. The programs at each of these schools met eight rigorous criteria. More information about the CAE program is available on the SOA website.
