- As always, the best part of the Speculative Fiction contest is the chance to read stories that are quite out of the ordinary realm. I won't try to explain or summarize them, but I do invite you to read and enjoy. You may learn something you didn't know, just as I did. And you will experience a variety of story-telling voices, as varied as the actuarial profession.
