Society of Actuaries Announces Senior Staff Promotions

Schaumburg, Ill.—The Society of Actuaries (SOA) has announced
key senior staff level promotions as part of a reorganization to support execution
of the association's strategic plan. Promoted to deputy executive director were
Joel D. Albizo, CAE, and Cheryl A. Krueger, FSA, both of whom will join Executive
Director Sarah Sanford to form the Society's executive staff team.
Albizo, as deputy executive director of marketing and customer
service delivery, will direct the delivery of solutions through the Society's
marketing and branding, customer care, marketplace research and development, and
technology and information services teams. Krueger, as chief actuary and deputy
executive director of education and research, will direct the SOA's basic and
continuing education, actuarial research, and content development teams as they
create solutions to challenges facing the actuarial profession.
Also promoted was Kara L. Clark, FSA, to managing director of
actuarial marketplace solutions and Stacy Lin, CPA, from director of finance to
senior director of finance and facilities.
The Society of Actuaries is an educational, research and
professional organization dedicated to serving the public and its 18,000 members.
