MRSAT–Marketplace Relevance Strategic Action Team

The Actuary of the Future Section is closely aligned with the Marketplace Relevance Strategic Action Team (MRSAT) of the Society. The MRSAT is charged with enhancing the knowledge and perception of actuaries among all current and potential employers of actuaries. An important part of that charge is broadening the arena in which actuaries are recognized as strong work contributors and thought leaders. The Actuary of the Future Section, in its mission to do the same, is clearly aligned with the MRSAT. This alignment is most readily evidenced in the cross pollination of projects and people. At any given time, two or three of Actuary of the Future Section Council members are active on the MRSAT and both the SOA's Pioneer Program and the Value Chain effort are heavily influenced by input from our section council.
