Regime Switching Equity Model Workbook–Version 1.0 Updated 8/3/2004
An enhanced version of the Regime Switching Equity Model Workbook has been completed and is now available. Posted on this site is a choice of copies available for download that will run in either Excel 2000 or Excel 20003. Please choose the one most appropriate for your system.
Important: The Regime Switching Equity Model Workbooks ("Software") posted on this site are under copyright, 2004, to the Society of Actuaries ("SOA"). Associate Professor Mary Hardy, Ph.D., Peter Hardy and the University of Waterloo created them for the SOA.
The Software has been developed FOR EDUCATIONAL USE ONLY. The SOA makes the Software available to individual users for such purpose on a non–exclusive basis. No commercial use, reproduction or distribution is permitted whatsoever.

System Requirements: The Excel 2000 Version of this software will run in Excel 2000 under Windows 98, Office 2000 and ME. The Excel 2000 Version will NOT run in Excel versions prior to Excel 2000 (Excel 97,etc.). The Excel 2003 workbook runs in Excel 2003 and applicable versions of Windows.
You will need to have the following Excel Add–In's installed to run the workbook: Analysis ToolPak, Analysis ToolPak – VBA and Solver.
The file size is approximately 2.0 Megabytes and may take several minutes to download. It is recommended that you save the file to your own machine and open it, rather than opening it directly from the Web site.
