2004 Credit Disability Experience Report
A new valuation standard for single premium credit disability active life reserves was recently
adopted by the NAIC. It is being adopted by state insurance departments. The Society’s Credit Insurance
Experience Committee will monitor the experience of this business as it unfolds, both from a general perspective and
relative to this new valuation standard. This study examines the experience from 2000 to 2003 in this regard.
