The SOA's Financial Reporting Section and the Joint SOA, CAS, CIA Risk Management Section are collaborating with the CIA and cosponsoring the 2008 Stochastic Modeling Symposium to be held Dec 1–2, 2008 in Montreal. The organizers are seeking papers to be presented at the conference on "Practical Financial and Actuarial Applications of Stochastic Models" and have issued the following Call For Papers.
