The presentation will move to issues being faced by illustration actuaries and companies concerned about complying with the model regulation. The session will allow for open discussion of ideas and concerns related to passing illustration testing and issuing certifications. At the conclusion of the session, attendees will have an understanding of the Life Illustration Practice Notes to help with their day-to-day job and gain insight into issues faced and actions taken by many companies in order to comply with the Life Illustration Model Regulation.

This session is designed to meet an important actuarial continuing education requirement. Further, it is advisable for actuaries to revisit the Actuarial Standards of Practice (ASOPs) that apply to their work frequently. This session will provide a forum of peers to informally discuss professionalism matters and ask questions. Certain ASOPs, such as 23 and 41, apply to nearly everything actuaries do. Certain ASOPs are new, and it is helpful to learn about them in order to better understand their applicability.
