Admission as Fellow for those with the FCAS designation

Upon approval of the Application for SOA membership with ACAS or FCAS, the Society of Actuaries (SOA) will admit to Fellowship a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS)1 in good standing and who meets the following conditions:

  1. The applicant has attained Fellowship of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) by examination and not in recognition of membership in another actuarial association.
  2. The applicant has satisfied the CAS Professional Development (PD) requirements, or its equivalent as recognized by the Society of Actuaries. Candidates should submit a detailed statement with their application form, attesting to their having satisfied the PD requirements.
  3. The application is received by December 31, 2015.


Applications will be reviewed by the SOA Registrar and the SOA Admissions Committee.
