In 2013, the Product Development Section created the Underwriting Issues & Innovation Seminar, a unique event that satisfied the interest and needs of actuaries, underwriters and other life insurance professionals. We received such positive reviews that we brought the seminar back but with some changes to keep things exciting. During this seminar, presenters will cover the latest information on topics of interest to actuaries, underwriters and other life insurance professionals, including predictive analytics, preferred underwriting, simplified issue, older age, laboratory scoring, prescription histories and fraud. What the future holds for areas such as mortality, genetics, medical science, marketing and legislation will also be discussed.

This year, instead of bringing in the vendors, we will have customers explain how they use the vendor offerings. That is just one of the many exciting learning and collaborative opportunities lined up for you at this 2014 seminar. Remember to stay to the end for some entertaining games and potential prizes.

Please plan to join us for this unique seminar and exciting learning opportunity.
