Marketing Executive Committee
In December 2012, the Board authorized the establishment of a marketing oversight committee that would provide a more integrated approach to marketing, combining both earned and paid media to promote of the SOA’s credentials, research and thought leadership both in North America and in some parts of Asia.
The purpose of the resulting Marketing Executive Committee (MEC) is to:
- Help the SOA thoughtfully develop long-term marketing strategies
- Bring new and innovative ideas on strategic approaches, based on the committee members’ experiences in their commercial roles
- Provide consistent oversight of the marketing program over many years
