Policy Committee

The Board adopts policies from time to time to provide guidance for the conduct of its own affairs and those of its various committees and task forces, and for the direction of SOA’s sections and staff in the management of SOA business. Those policies are compiled in a Policy Manual, which must be reviewed and updated periodically as the organizational structure, governance practices and operations change over time.

The Policy Committee is responsible for (i) maintaining and updating a comprehensive set of policies governing the organization and its operations, and (ii) advising the Board with respect to proposed amendments to the SOA Bylaws.
