In Memory of Camille Champagne

Camille Champagne, ASA 2014, died on May 7, 2015, while vacationing in Florida. He was 26 years old. At the time of his death, Camille was working for Optimum Consultants & Actuaries Inc. in Montreal, Quebec.

Camille was an exceptional son, one that any parent would be proud of. His presence over the last 26 years has filled his family with incredible joy and happiness. Over the years, he had acquired and developed multiple skills to become a perfectly balanced individual whom his entourage deeply appreciated. Camille was destined to a promising future, a future brutally and unjustly halted; from now on, he will accompany in minds and hearts all those who cherished him, leaving behind fond and wonderful memories.

Camille is survived by his parents, François Champagne and Louise Laurin, and two older brothers Julien and Raphaël, as well as their respective spouses, Frederique and Isabelle. He also leaves in grief his aunt Danielle who, throughout the years, has been an elder sister and a dear friend, as well as his godparents, Marthe Champagne and Guy Parent, who took care of him as their own son.

At last, Camille was the younger of two large families, and leaves behind many aunts and uncles, cousins, as well as many great friends.
