Individual Life and Annuity CSP is awritten-answer examination offered in the spring and fall of eachyear. Both a U.S. and Canadian version of the exam areadministered, each of which has its own reading list.

The syllabus for this exam exposes thecandidate to the preparation and analysis of life insurance companyfinancial statements including the underlying valuation principlessupporting these statements. Further, the course of reading coversmethods of reinsurance, risk mitigation, determining risk based andeconomic capital, asset liability matching and calculating embeddedvalue for individual life insurance and annuity products.

Recommendedorder for each fellowship track. These recommendations areeffective for all exams and modules completed after July 1,2011.
