Experience Studies – Individual Disability

The Individual Disability Insurance Experience Committee has prepared a 2000-07 experience report. The same data was used to develop an experience basic table, an updated Disability Morbidity Tables Excel Workbook and other associated documentation. This material can be found in the links to the right.

Future disability studies will use the ICD 10 codes for cause of disability. If older claims have associated ICD 9 codes, conversion tables have been created that will be used by the study committees to convert to the new codes. See the “ICD-9 to ICD-10 Conversion Tables” under Related Links. The tables vary slightly between Group Disability and Individual Disability.
