Risk adjustment has seemingly worked well in Medicare for a number of years. It was also applied successfully in Massachusetts within the Commonwealth Care block of subsidized policyholders. However, application to the ACA exchanges does not appear to have been as successful. There have been numerous complaints from plans; all but six co-ops have gone out of business and CMS is proposing to revise some aspects of risk adjustment. This webcast looks at ACA risk adjustment, some of the emerging problems and possible solutions.
How the live webcast works and what it includes
You do not need any special equipment. On Nov. 29, 2016, before 2:00 p.m. ET you will be sent detailed webcast instructions via email including the Web address for accessing the presentation. Any handouts that are available will also be sent. You will follow along with both the slide presentation and the audio portion of the broadcast over the Internet.
