With the 2017 pricing season nearly complete for commercial health care, and two of the 3R risk mitigation programs in the rear view mirror, what should we expect going forward in the commercial health care markets?  This session will focus on coming ACA legislation impacts, market morbidity, consolidation of carriers, strategy, tactics and other concerns.

At the conclusion of the session, attendees will be able to:

  • Understand current and emerging trends in the commercial ACA sector.
  • Learn about ACA alternatives in the commercial market, including traditional (such as large group and self-funding) and emergent options.
  • Understand and navigate the challenges that today's commercial sector health actuaries have to deal with.
