The Actuaries Climate Index (ACI) was designed to provide actuaries, public policymakers, and the general public with objective data about changes in the frequency of extreme climate events over recent decades. Join us for a webinar that will dive into the ACI, giving an overview of the index and a discussion of its goals and future improvements.
During the webinar, presenters will:
- Provide an introduction to the ACI and how it came about;
- Review particular ACI components and provide highlights from the ACI website;
- Introduce the Actuaries Climate Risk Index (ACRI); and
- Outline plans and future improvements for the ACI and ACRI.
Attendees will get a behind-the-scenes look at the ACI from those who were involved in its development and launch.
