Who Should Participate

All actuarial users of Excel.

Are you tired of piecing together data provided in text files, Excel files, web pages and even the body of emails, just so you can get started with your analysis? Until now, updates have been tedious and error prone, with a great deal effort to cut and paste. This painful process stops today.

In this webcast you will learn how to clean, reshape and combine your data with ease, no matter where it comes from. Using the new Power Query engine in Excel, converting ASCII files into tables, combining multiple text files and even un-pivoting data is not only simple, but an investment in the future. Whether your data comes from a database or a collection of other sources, this incredible tool can help you transform horrible data structures into those that Excel loves to consume. It is refreshable with a single click!

If you need to learn one skill in Excel today, how to work with Power Query is it.  Not only will it change the way you get and transform data in Excel, but it's also the system used to collect data for Power BI desktop, meaning these skills are transferable to other programs.
