Sang Rae Park has been the president of the Institute of Actuaries of Korea since 2012 and he is serving his second term as a president. He has about 8 years of experience in insurance companies and about 20 years of experience at Korea Insurance Development Institute mainly in pricing and product development and pension plans department. Also He has been a senior advisor in the insurance department at Kim & Chang since 2010. He holds a bachelor's degree in Statistics and a master's degree in Insurance Management.

Joseph Kim, FSA, FCIA, FIAK, CFA, CERA
Consulting Actuary, Product Manager - Booster-FMS
Joseph Kim is a senior manager and consulting actuary with Milliman’s Seoul office and the product manager of Milliman’s new actuarial software, Booster-FMS. He primarily works with clients in adopting advanced actuarial techniques and regulatory framework in their pricing and valuation processes. Recent projects involved extensive stochastic modelling in analyzing new business margin and inforce liability under IFRS 17 and Solvency II framework. He has very diversified working experience from assumption development to economic capital modeling with a direct insurer, reinsurer, and consulting firm in Canada, United States, and Korea. He graduated with the highest honors in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo in Canada and is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries, the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, and Institute of Actuaries of Korea. He is also a CFA and CERA charter holder. He is also a member of Greater Asia committee member and Korea ambassador for the SOA.
James Lin, FIAA

James Lin, FIAA, is a senior manager, Insurance Analytics and Quantitative Advisory for Ernst & Young based in Hong Kong. He joined the financial services and the actuarial profession in the 2007 and has been involved in various analytics roles with banks and insurance companies. This includes capital quantification, customer analytics, fraud analytics, credit scoring, investment strategy and asset allocation as well as enterprise risk management. Lin graduated with a first class honors degree in actuarial studies from the University of Melbourne, Australia and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries Australia.
Jenny Jin, FSA, MAAA
Jenny Jin is a Consulting Actuary with Milliman Financial Risk Management LLC, based in Chicago. She has more than 10 years of experience in the insurance and risk management field. Her primary role involves managing the operations of multi-billion dollar hedging portfolios for a range of U.S. and international financial institutions. Her work is focused on leveraging industry standard risk management practices to improve the sustainable manufacturing and risk management of retirement income products with living benefit guarantees. Jenny is also responsible for researching and developing applications of predictive modeling techniques to better understand dynamic policyholder behavior assumptions and how policyholder behavior impacts the pricing, valuation and risk management of variable annuity products. Jenny graduated with an Honors Bachelor in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo in Canada and is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries.

Lichen Bao, PhD
RGA Reinsurance Company
Bao applies predictive modeling technique on insurance applications, helping with more accurate and better decisions and solutions. Bao has 8-year hands-on experience of data analytics and modeling. Prior to joining RGA, he was the senior manager of data analytics of Aegon-THTF, where he applied predictive modeling for target marketing to boost the sales of life insurance products. He was also with Opera Solutions, where he delivered solutions to various applications of credit card industry, including underwriting, cross selling, fraud detection and collection, etc.
Bao obtained his PHD in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas, USA, and a BE in Computer Science and Technology from the University of Science and Technology of China.

Winnie Liu, FSA, FCIA, FSAS, is head of actuarial modeling and experience study, Life Health 2, and has been with Munich Re for 14 years, 9 years in Canada Branch and 5 years in Singapore Regional Team. Prior to joining Munich Re, Liu worked at China Life for 5 years as a senior consultant for system development. Liu has held various positions in pricing, valuation and global actuarial consulting team at Munich Re, with her most recent role focusing on constructing actuarial models and performing traditional as well as non-traditional (predictive analytics) experience studies.
