Who Should Participate

Life actuaries who work with and review actuarial models. All levels of experience.


Modeling projects require awareness of professional guidance, which includes Actuarial Standards of Practice (ASOPs), practice notes and governance checklists. This presentation will focus on the most recent exposure drafts on Setting Assumptions , Modeling , and Capital Adequacy Assessment for Insurers . In addition, a brief overview of other available resources and existing ASOPs will be discussed.

How the live webcast works and what it includes

You do not need any special equipment. On April 26, 2017, before 2:00 p.m. ET you will be sent detailed webcast instructions via email including the Web address for accessing the presentation. Any handouts that are available will also be sent. You will follow along with both the slide presentation and the audio portion of the broadcast over the Internet.
