Description

Speakers will review guidance on professionalism relating to these uncertain times, by providing examples from their experience walking the tightrope when facing limited information and filing deadlines.

Health actuaries are again faced with uncertainty in the marketplace on how the ACA will be changed in the new environment. Unfortunately, filing deadlines do not pause while health actuaries await important policy and guidance changes. The speakers will review the Professionalism Code of Conduct and ASOPs as they relate to these uncertain times. They will give examples from their experiences as pricing and regulatory actuaries on how to walk the tightrope when facing a lack of information and pressing pricing deadlines.
