Political shifts such as immigration, health care, the Paris Agreement, tax code revisions, NAFTA renegotiation and the United States’ role within the world significantly impact traditional institutional investment portfolios. Is it possible to prepare for such changes and if so, how? These and other questions will be explored at this year’s Investment Symposium.

This symposium is a day-long seminar that will focus on the issues and questions faced by investors and risk managers, especially related to insurance companies and retirement plans. Presenters will discuss the big picture issues and explore practical solutions to today's challenges, as well as share new approaches to portfolio management and cutting-edge research in asset-liability management. Technology, regulation and the economic environment will also be considered. Experts will aim to create a good framework for investment decision making.
