Who Should Participate

Members of the Financial Reporting, Health, Long Term Care, Product Development, Smaller Insurance Company, and Taxation sections and all others interested in better understanding the impact of recent tax reform on tax reserves. 


This webcast will recap the changes to tax reserves beginning in 2018 due to the 2017 tax legislation. Tax reserve calculations and impacts will be covered for various product lines, including fixed and variable life insurance products, with and without cash values and fixed and variable annuities. In addition, details will be reviewed for term certain annuities, long-term care and disability products. Finally, special considerations will be discussed including transition issues.  The panel will reserve time for participants’ questions. 

How the live webcast works and what it includes

You do not need any special equipment. On June 13, 2018, before 2:00 p.m. ET you will be sent detailed webcast instructions via email including the Web address for accessing the live-streaming broadcast presentation. Any handouts that are available will also be sent.
