2026 SOA Valuation Actuary Meeting

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2026 SOA ValAct Meeting. The event brought together valuation actuaries, industry leaders and experts to explore the latest developments shaping actuarial practice through insightful sessions, engaging discussions and valuable opportunities to connect with colleagues.

Beyond the educational sessions, attendees had opportunities to exchange ideas, hear new perspectives, and gain practical insights they can bring back to their organizations.

Session Recordings

The majority of sessions were recorded. Recordings will be available to all registered attendees in the event platform until November 23, 2026. Access will not be available after this date. Recordings will be available to PD Edge+ subscribers at the end of January 2027.

You can earn additional CPD credits by viewing session recordings!

Registered Attendees, Here's How You View Recorded Sessions:

• Go to the event platform and log in using your MySOA credentials.
• Click on “Watch Recordings” on the top banner to enter the Recordings Dashboard.
• Click on the session you wish to view and click play within the virtual room.
• You can toggle between other recordings in the left-hand menu of the virtual room.
• The session handouts/presentation slides are available in the files tab in the right-hand menu of the virtual room.

Note: The desktop version does give you the best viewing experience, but the recordings can be accessed on the session level of the SOA Events App.
