Description

VM-20 requires asset modeling for the deterministic reserve, stochastic reserve, and the stochastic reserve exclusion ratio test. This webcast will present two case studies looking at the impact various reinvestment strategies, interest rate scenarios and other criteria can have on VM-20 results. The webcast will begin with an overview of VM-20's asset modeling requirements including scenarios, starting assets, reinvestments, default rates, policy loans, hedging programs, and discount rates.

This webcast is part of a series focused on PBR for life insurance (VM-20) and includes these additional webcasts:
July 28, 2016 -  VM-20 Assumption Guidance
Aug. 4, 2016 -  VM-31 Documentation Requirements and the PBR Actuarial Report
Sept. 28, 2016 -  VM-20 Prudent Estimate Mortality Webcast
Oct. 14, 2016 -  VM-G Governance

Participate in one or all of the webcasts. Register for each separately.
