The Individual Life Experience Committee continues to unlock valuable insights from the VM51 data as the NAIC releases it. In this session, attendees will get an update on individual life mortality through the year 2021 and an update on the committee's research initiatives, which include predictive analytics and company differences. The Committee will also be joined by representation from the team working on updating the 2015 VBT, who will share the latest thinking on updates to the tables as they relate to mortality improvement, old age mortality, and underwriting effects. The panelists will also discuss upcoming individual life experience studies covering post-level term mortality as well as COVID and post-COVID mortality. Attendees will leave with insights into current mortality trends and research from the Individual Life Experience Committee as well as an early look at the work being done on the next iteration of the Valuation Basic Tables.
