Senior Insurance Reporting Analyst – RBC

Crystal Brown is a senior insurance reporting analyst -RBC at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). She joined the NAIC in 2006 as an insurance reporting analyst II in the Financial Regulatory Services Department. Brown is the primary staff support for the Health Risk-Based Capital (E) working group. She develops and maintains risk-based capital data repository specifications, data validation specifications and technical documentation of the health risk-based capital formula. Brown currently assists in the maintenance of the UCAA website, electronic application and handbook and is staff support for the Biographical Third-Party Review (E) subgroup. Prior to her role in working with RBC, she was also in the Financial Analysis and Quality Assurance departments at the NAIC.
Brown came to the NAIC from the Americo Financial Insurance Company, where she was a senior new business analyst. Brown graduated from Park University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and administration.
Tully Sun Cheng, FSA, CERA, MAAA
Tully Cheng, CFA, FSA, Vice President, joined Neuberger Berman in 2017 focusing on asset allocation, risk management, and thought leadership. Tully is responsible for developing analytical tools, producing white papers, and client engagement. Prior to joining the firm, Tully worked as a Director in PGIM’s Institutional Advisory & Solutions Group where he worked in a similar function with pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, and non-US banks. Prior to the IAS role, Tully worked in Prudential’s Retirement Group, Individual Life Group, and Group Insurance Group focusing on credit analysis, product pricing, and cash flow testing. Tully graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Cornell University with BA degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics. Tully is a board member of Schola Cantorum on Hudson, a non-profit choral organization focused on musical education and performance.
Shyam Kolli, FSA, MAAA
Shyam, FSA, MAAA is a Health Actuary with Milliman. He has 13 years of experience as a health actuary working for Milliman and UnitedHealth Group. He works on pricing and reserving for both Commercial and Medicare Advantage products. Other areas of experience include working with start-up health plans to determine capital requirements, actuarial analysis for self-insured employer health plans and provider risk sharing analysis. Shyam graduated from Rutgers University with a master’s degree in Statistics.
