This session will examine expectations versus real-world experience for cell and gene therapies (CGTs), including costs, uptake, and risk. We will share insights from claims data and manufacturer revenue analyses, and discuss the impact of the FDA’s expedited approval pathways and what this may mean for forecasting future exposure. The session will also explore the implications of CGTs for various stakeholders and describe risk-mitigation solutions available today. Attendees will gain actionable insights to help actuaries navigate the evolving landscape of cell and gene therapies.
