Providing feedback can be challenging—and receiving it can be even more so! The Feedback Loop: You Get What You Give explores the art of delivering and receiving feedback effectively in a professional setting, covering both constructive and positive approaches. During this session, speakers will share best practices for structuring feedback conversations for actuaries and technical professionals, including considerations of timing, setting, and intent to ensure a meaningful exchange for both the giver and the receiver.
Additionally, the webcast will cover how recipients can engage with the feedback provider to have a productive conversation. The session will highlight the impact of everyday interactions—beyond formal feedback—and how they shape our professional relationships. The topic is relevant for all levels and practice areas, as everyone encounters situations where they are either giving feedback or receiving it.
