This webinar explores the practical application of data science techniques to the audit of insurance companies, with a particular focus on the actuarial perspective. Designed for actuaries and senior professionals, the session will illustrate how advanced analytics, machine learning, and data-driven methodologies are transforming audit practices across the insurance industry. Through concrete, real-world examples, participants will gain insight into how leading global insurance companies are leveraging data science to enhance the effectiveness, depth, and efficiency of their audit processes. The webinar will demonstrate how these approaches support a more robust understanding of risks embedded in actuarial models, operational processes, and broader operating models, enabling more informed judgment and stronger governance.
The session will also address how data science can be used to identify anomalies, improve model validation, and strengthen risk oversight in increasingly complex and data-intensive environments. Emphasis will be placed on practical use cases that bridge actuarial expertise, audit objectives, and advanced analytics. The webinar will be delivered in Spanish and offers actuaries an opportunity to understand emerging best practices and the evolving role of data science in the audit and risk management functions of insurance organizations.
