The Society of Actuaries is pleased to make available a research report that analyzes health care cost differences by age and their contribution to overall health care cost change. Commercial data held by the Health Care Cost Institute (HCCI) and Medicare fee-for-service data were used for the study. The report was authored by Dale Yamamoto.
