Society of Actuaries Awards University-Earned Credit Status to Five University Actuarial Programs in the United States and the United Kingdom
The Society of Actuaries (SOA) approves five SOA Centers of Actuarial Excellence (CAE) university actuarial programs to offer University-Earned Credit (UEC). These universities include the University of California at Santa Barbara; Bayes Business School – City St George’s, University of London; the University of Michigan; The Ohio State University; and Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, BC. The UEC program allows university students the opportunity to earn credit for the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation, when they attain a required score on university coursework.
