Description: "In the past four years, the Society of Actuaries (SOA) compiled essay collections that address issues related to retirement. The 2019 call for essays focused on exploring innovations and ideas to help workers and retirees meet two objectives: (1) identify retirement risks, and (2) plan for and maintain a secure retirement. Authors were encouraged to address new developments in tools, products and/or strategies, and comment on feasibility of developing concepts into reality within our current landscape. The presenters in this session will share several of their award-winning essays. Observations and highlights from other essays in the collection will also be shared."
