The current spotlight on health care reformprovides an excellent platform for actuaries to demonstrate thecontributions they can bring to the table as the debate over keyhealth issues continues. To showcase some of these ideas, theHealth Section of the Society of Actuaries issued a call for essayson "Visions for the Future of the U.S. Health Care System."
