Are there any suitable techniques for trying to aggregate the variable products with the fixed products?

Description: 1988 Valuation Actuary Symposium. The first speaker discussed the complete solvency testing process and the route by which the valuation actuary arrives at conclusions and prepares a solvency report. The second speaker discussed certain general objectives and requirements of the valuation actuary's report and then indicated how a hypothetical company's sample report was drafted with these points in mind.
