Description: This teaching session, number 37TS, was presented at the 2000 Annual Meeting of the Society of Actuaries, held October 15-18 in Chicago. The instructors ask: “Are you responsible for the completion of work that requires the assistance of people you have no authority over? How do you get things done if you're not in charge and can't do it all yourself? Do you have peers, project team members, and at least one boss who impacts the results you are able to achieve?
