In May, the SOA launched a General Insurance Community which is located on the SOA Engage platform. The General Insurance Community is a private community for SOA General Insurance members to participate in conversations with actuaries working in general insurance (property and casualty).
Over the last several months there have been numerous posts about autonomous cars, usage based insurance and telematics, big data and predictive analytics, climate change, price optimization and much more. Join us on the GI Community and share your insights, post questions, and network with other actuaries in a private online community.
To explore the GI Community simply sign in with your SOA username and password at https://engage.soa.org. Once you have signed in, click on the “Communities” tab, select “My Communities,” and then click on the General Insurance Community link.
